Established suburbs, established trees
Most of Canberra's trouble trees were planted in the 1960s and 70s and are now enormous: pin oaks in Deakin, elms in Ainslie, gums in Watson, pines in Holder. Working in those yards, with the neighbours close and the access tight, is what we do most days. Recent jobs from the blog: a restorative prune on a mature oak in Holder, deadwooding a pine and clearing a neighbour's roof in Downer, a full garden reset with stump grinding in Deakin, and repairing a lopped elm in Duffy.

Linus is easy to communicate with, answering my questions promptly. He went out of his way to let my neighbours know access to their houses would be restricted whilst his team worked at my property. The team worked incredibly hard removing an enormous eucalyptus and tidied up my place and the street when the work was finished.
Linus and his team are enthusiastic about trees. They are willing to prune and balance canopies, as opposed to chop. A big difference, because trees are healthier and live longer with canopy care. I regularly refer clients to LiRo Tree Services.
I initially made an online enquiry over a weekend and got a reply back straight away! LiRo came out and did a quote the same week with some really important insights into best course of action.
